I'm retired from working in the corporate world for over 40 years. Now I get to have fun, although as a teen or twenty something, I never would have imagined sewing as a hobby. I enjoy working with the fabric and especially the colors. I've learned a lot about silk and finally get to be creative. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

For New Year's Eve 2017, my first year, I made a gold and black collar and wore it with a long sleeve v-neck blouse, paired with a black and gold belt and what I call my "fancy pants". A coulotte style ruffled pant and a pair of boots. I got compliments on the collar from the men as well as the women.

Pictured with my first buyer, Judi Townsend, owner of Mannequin Madness in Oakland, CA. I was looking for a mannequin display. I walked in wearing a collar and she said "I want one!" She also requested a "necklace" type collar as well as an Obi style belt, which got me started on additional styles. Her shop is a really fun place to visit whether you're looking for a mannequin or tabletop display form.
